About Our Food Pantry

Throughout the whole year, Christ Church Cares operates a local outreach ministry that provides healthy delivered food to parishioners and neighbors recuperating from illness or surgery.  In January 2010, Christ Church Cares, with guidance from Clarke County Social Services, began a community food pantry for residents of Clarke County.  We are a member of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and receive donations from generous local businesses.  On the first Saturday of the month, we assemble nutritious food baskets for all our clients. The pantry is also open for individual requests during church office hours. and a "Country Fair" is held in July to raise additional funds to support our outreach program.
